Should I hire a tax resolution company or a law firm?
A question we are frequently asked is, whether a prospective client should hire a tax resolution firm or a tax attorney. It’s important to note that a tax attorney has attorney client privilege with their client. So anything that you say in confidence could not be repeated or shared with anyone else, including the IRS. Tax resolutions firms may not have attorneys on staff, and therefore the things that you tell them may be open to disclosure to other parties.
